From the source

Newcastle United defender Amar Dedic was stopped by police after being spotted carrying a bow and arrows at a Northumberland beauty spot. Bosnia-Herzegovina international Dedic, 24, was with a friend when he was stopped by police in a car after a concerned member of the public raised the alarm.

Reports say six police cars, external were dispatched, including armed police, and that Dedic and his companion were stopped about seven miles away from where they were originally spotted.

Police searched the car and seized the bow and arrows but were satisfied the two men were not a threat to the public. BBC Sport has been told Dedic had no ill intention and has fully co-operated with the police.
