Ashley Williams believes Tottenham could mount a Premier League title charge under Roberto De Zerbi this season following their run of three consecutive victories. Tottenham Hotspur’s form has improved in the last three weeks, with the Lilywhites going from the bottom three to just a few points off the European places.
It took a run of three consecutive victories, including wins against Coventry, Chelsea and Crystal Palace, to turn Spurs’ fortunes around, a feat they had not managed in the previous two years.
The Lilywhites now sit in ninth place, just three points off fifth, which could well be enough for a return to the Champions League. However, former Swansea defender Ashley Williams is convinced Spurs can go one better and challenge for the title.
