The Premier League weekend action ended with Liverpool 0 Arsenal 1. An intriguing match at Anfield. An excellent team move on 16 minutes saw Declan Rice set up Kai Havertz for what proved to be the only goal of the match.
Arsenal had started brightly but after taking the lead were happy to sit back and try and hit Liverpool on the break. There was a lot effort and pressure from the scousers but they lacked the quality in the attacking third.
Alexander Isak poor up front and David Raya not a single shot to save, it was the first time in over 20 years that Liverpool had failed to have a shot on target in Premier League match at Anfield.
