Manchester United enjoyed their comeback win against Roma on and off the field, mocking the Giallorossi with a brutal tweet at full-time. Roma wasted a two-goal lead at Old Trafford last night: they scored twice in the opening 17 minutes but conceded three times in the second half, falling to a 3-2 loss.
Manchester United hadn’t won a game since September, while Roma had lost only once across all competitions before last night’s meeting. Ironically, Roma had lost to Real Madrid in a similar fashion in October, falling 4-3 at the Stadio Olimpico and conceding three goals in the dying minutes.
Manchester United kept celebrating on and off the pitch, taking to X, formerly Twitter, to share a series of cheeky posts after their victory. Manchester United captioned the image with a simple but fitting message: “Absolute Cinema.”
