Michael Carrick breathed a sigh of relief after Manchester United’s 3-2 comeback win over AS Roma. United’s first win in 10 games handed Carrick at least another opportunity to lead the Red Devils, who will face Aston Villa over the weekend.

However, given United’s disastrous form, it would be difficult for Carrick to survive the November international break, irrespective of what happens against Villa at Old Trafford.

Earlier today, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming Manchester United are considering possible replacements for head coach Michael Carrick and have accordingly contacted Didier Deschamps.
