N’Golo Kante would be proud of what Pep Chavarria has already achieved at Chelsea

New Chelsea signing Pep Chavarria is starting to make an impact for Xabi Alonso’s team. Chelsea signed Chavarria from Rayo Vallecano in the summer, but he has had to wait for his chance.

His first Premier League start for the Blues came just before the international break but was a game to forget. Chavarria and co lost 3-0 to Brentford, but the defender and his teammates were able to bounce back at the weekend after beating Bournemouth 5-1.

Chavarria also started that match and put in a great performance, which is backed up by his stats. Chelsea fans have been talking about the left wing-back’s assist for Joao Pedro’s second goal against the Cherries, which was well-worked.
