Barcelona are monitoring Tottenham Hotspur right-back Pedro Porro, but signing the Spain international is expected to be extremely difficult given his long-term contract and Tottenham’s determination to retain him, reports SPORT.
Porro has attracted attention through his performances, making him one of the defenders on Barcelona’s radar as Hansi Flick considers solutions for the position. Even though Eric Garcia’s conversion into a right-back has provided the German coach with an internal alternative, Barcelona continue to assess the market for potential reinforcements.
Barcelona’s interest in Porro comes from their search for greater depth and quality on the right side of defence. While Garcia has offered Flick another option through his positional adaptation, the club is continuing to monitor specialist right-backs who could strengthen the squad.
