From the source

Blackpool beat Aston Villa's Under-21 side while Port Vale put five past Manchester City in Tuesday's EFL Trophy action. Everton also lost at Shrewsbury Town, but Arsenal prevented a full house of defeats for Premier League youngsters as they came from behind to win at AFC Wimbledon.

Zac Ashworth, Jerry Yates and Jordan Brown scored as Blackpool came from behind to defeat Villa 3-2 at Bloomfield Road. The Villa youngsters took the lead when Fletcher Boyd netted in the 29th minute but the Seasiders came steaming back through Ashworth, Yates and Brown before Markie Meade pulled one back for Villa in stoppage time.

Blackpool are second in Northern Group B, while Villa remain rooted to the bottom of the group table, without a point. Vale top Northern Group D with seven points, while City are third.
