Arteta: Continuing at Arsenal is a privilege
Story updated
The story in brief
30-second readMikel Arteta’s Arsenal future has been secured with the contract extension that was announced earlier today . The Spaniard took over in 2019, with a club in the doldrums, but after years of hard work and investment (emotional and financial), led us to a first Premier League title in 22 years.
The new deal takes him, and his staff, through until 2030, by which time we will hopefully have added to that trophy collection.
Speaking to the official site , the 44 year old said, “It’s a privilege to commit my future to the club and to continue to work with exceptional people who want the best for Arsenal.
