From the source
Harry Kane’s contract extension is more than just another piece of good business for Bayern Munich. It is a statement of intent. FC Bayern has secured the services of one of the world’s most prolific strikers through 2029, reinforcing its ambitions to compete for every major trophy while providing continuity to a project that has Kane firmly at its center.
And the club’s leadership is certainly not shy about what this deal represents. Board member for sport Max Eberl sees the extension as a major statement to the rest of European football.
“When you as a club manage to tie down the best player in the world, it’s a huge statement. We want to compete for the biggest trophies and this [extension] just makes us better,” said Eberl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
