Barcelona ‘closely monitoring’ Inter Milan star

The transfer team at La Liga champions Barcelona are keeping a close eye on the situation of Inter Milan star Andy Diouf. This comes with a view to a potential future move for his signature.

Diouf has for his part spent the early weeks of the new season establishing himself as a key figure in Milan. Following the summer departure of Denzel Dumfries to Real Madrid, the 23-year-old has stepped in to fill the sizable hole left at right wing-back.

Diouf is capable of slotting into a whole host of roles across the pitch, but has found a new lease of life on Inter’s right, notching three assists in five Serie A starts this term.
