With Vincent Kompany still absent, Bayern Munich assistant coach Aaron Danks provided a squad update at Friday’s press conference ahead of Saturday’s Der Klassiker clash with Borussia Dortmund.

Danks confirmed that Manuel Neuer will miss the game due to ongoing foot problems, with Jonas Urbig set to deputise once again after stepping in on several occasions this season.

Meanwhile, a late decision will be made on Joshua Kimmich’s availability after the Germany captain returned to Säbener Straße on Thursday following a period of leave after the death of a close family member last week.
