The story in brief

35-second read

(Photo by Karl-Josef HILDENBRAND / AFP via Getty Images) | AFP via Getty Images Bayern Munich put a scare into fans by giving up a goal just eight seconds into the match, and that would be a harbinger of things to come as the German Rekordmeister scuffled to a 2-2 draw with FC Augsburg.

Just moments into the game, FC Augsburg was on the scoreboard. During the opening kickoff, t he ball was played straight back to Manuel Neuer, who took a massive touch.

As he scrambled to get to the ball, the veteran goalkeeper did manage to get off a clearance attempt, but it drilled Robin Fellhauer, who charged forward, gathered in the ricochet, and calmly deposited the ball into the net for a 1-0 lead.
