Borussia Dortmund survived another scare against Werder Bremen to win 3-2 in their second-round tie of the DFB-Pokal on Tuesday. Serhou Guirassy opened the scoring for them in the sixth minute while Carney Chukwuemeka doubled their advantage another 11 minutes later as the BVB led 2-0 at the break.

However, Niclas Fullkrug came off the bench to score twice in the 65th and 68th minute to wipe out Dortmund's lead and bring Bremen level, just as he did 18 days ago in their league encounter.

But this time around, the Black and Yellow were able to dig themselves out of this with a late winner, as Marcel Sabitzer powered home a sensational free-kick to make it 3-2 in the dying seconds.
