The story in brief
30-second readBy: Ben Dixon AC Milan’s Primavera returned to winning ways this afternoon, with a very welcome victory against Cagliari and Giovanni Renna has offered his thoughts.
At the Puma House of Football, Milan will have been glad to see things turn around after a difficult few weeks. Before today’s win, they hadn’t avoided defeat since September 6th – when they beat Juventus – so this ends a pretty long run of poor form .
Nevertheless, their performance was assured, remaining ahead at 1-0 and then controlling the game after the red card and penalty. A textbook performance from a side that have been anything but that in recent weeks.
