From the source

Manchester United are reportedly exploring a potential loan move for Manchester City left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri in January. The Algerian international has not played a minute of Premier League football this season and has grown frustrated with his lack of playing time.

Ait-Nouri signed from Wolves in 2025 and made 12 league starts last season, but has fallen further out of favour under Enzo Maresca. Manchester United are understood to have weighed up an approach late in the summer window, and Africafoot claim Ait-Nouri is back on the radar for January.

United are desperate to add depth at left-back, amid Luke Shaw’s uncertain future and a lack of alternatives. Diogo Dalot and Ayden Heaven have deputised at left-back in recent weeks and the Red Devils want a recognised alternative to Shaw, whose contract expires in the summer.
