Bayern Munich stayed top of the Bundesliga table despite drawing Borussia Dortmund 2-2 at the Allianz Arena in what was an installment of Der Klassiker that lived up to the billing.
For the first time in quite a while, both sides came into the match level on points and fighting for top spot in the league, and it was well and truly a battle between the top two teams in the Bundesliga right now.
Konrad Laimer’s first-half goal was canceled out by Serhou Guirassy’s strike in the 60th minute, and Dayot Upamecano thought he had won it for Bayern just six minutes later with his goal from close range.
