Turning a winless start into three straight league victories takes serious composure on the touchline. As a result, Roberto De Zerbi has been shortlisted for the October Manager of the Month award.

His side collected 10 points from 12 to move into the top half of the table. Now, the Italian faces five rival bosses before voting closes at noon on Monday, 9 November.

Everything started shifting when a ten-man Tottenham side refused to fold at Old Trafford. Trailing at Manchester United, the visitors snatched a 1-1 draw through a late Dominic Solanke equaliser.
