Confirmed: Barcelona squad list to face Galatasaray; Raphinha and two other key players ruled out
Story updated
The story in brief
27-second readBarcelona have confirmed their squad for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League clash against Galatasaray in Istanbul, with Raphinha, Frenkie de Jong and Andreas Christensen among the notable absentees.
Hansi Flick must prepare for the European fixture without several players dealing with fitness problems, while Roony Bardghji is also unavailable for the trip to Turkey.
The absence of Raphinha is particularly significant after the Brazilian winger returned from international duty with an injury. Although his issue is not major , Barcelona do not intend to aggravate a small problem and want him to recover fully before being introduced on the field.
