Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have shown different levels of intensity after Rio Ferdinand made a powerful point about manager Luis Enrique. Paris Saint-Germain have become one of the best teams in world football after Luis Enrique’s transformative impact at the Ligue 1 side since his 2023 arrival in Paris.

Under Enrique’s management, PSG have been a dominant force in European football and the club have successfully lifted back-to-back Champions League trophies. Rio Ferdinand has now claimed that the former Manchester United side he was in shared similarities with the well-oiled machine that PSG have become under Enrique.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Rio Ferdinand insisted that there was a “common denominator” for the best teams in world football, both past and present. There ain’t a massive gap between all of them.
