Craig’s Column: Liverpool’s Mentality Problem Is Becoming Impossible To Ignore

Liverpool’s 3-0 Collapse Has Exposed A Mentality Problem I Can’t Ignore I’ve had some disappointing days supporting Liverpool Football Club, but yesterday’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester City is going to take a while to get over.

I went into that game desperate to see Liverpool put City in their place. After everything that has happened with their financial charges, I wanted Anfield to be the scene of a victory that the whole footballing world could enjoy.

Instead, we watched Manchester City celebrate, their supporters mock us and our own fans leave the stadium before the final whistle. I’m angry, I’m frustrated, but more than anything, I’m sad.
