Watch: Hansi Flick makes classy gesture after winning September’s La Liga coaching award

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has been named La Liga Coach of the Month for September, but the German chose to share the recognition with his coaching staff rather than take centre stage alone.

Flick posed with his colleagues for the traditional photograph with the award at Camp Tito Vilanova, with Barcelona later releasing the image. The gesture followed a remarkable month in which Barça won all four of their La Liga matches, collected 12 points and scored 19 goals.

The award recognises Barcelona’s outstanding league form, but Flick’s decision to involve his staff also offered a glimpse into the collective approach behind the team’s performances.
