MÜNCHEN (Bulinews) Bayern Munich legend Roy Makaay feels Harry Kane not only richly deserved his Ballon d'Or award, but conducted himself with class unlike some of his closer competitors in the race for football's top individual accolade. “I think this year compared to other years there were quite a lot of candidates to win the Ballon d’Or. What I liked is that the one [Kane] who won didn’t advertise for themselves,” the Dutch striker said at a media round attended by Bulinews.com. “The other two [Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe] were just speaking at press conferences that they should win it. In the end, it’s the journalists who decide who wins it and that’s the way it should be.
