Bayern Munich has another reason to be excited about the future, even if Lennart Karl narrowly missed out on a podium finish for the 2026 Men’s Young Talent of the Year award.
The Bayern Munich youngster finished fourth in the voting for the prestigious prize, which recognizes the best young player in world football. Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal took home the award, followed by teammate Pau Cubarsí in second place and Warren Zaïre-Emery of Paris Saint-Germain in third.
RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomandé rounded out the top five. While fourth place might not come with a trophy, it is still a significant achievement for Karl.
