Noni Madueke could still feature for Arsenal against Liverpool on Sunday, with Mikel Arteta refusing to rule the winger out ahead of the club’s final training session.

Madueke missed the Carabao Cup defeat at Fleetwood with an ankle problem, but a decision on his availability has not yet been made. The key test will come on Saturday, when Arsenal train for the final time before travelling to Anfield.

Arteta said when asked about the winger. “We have a training session tomorrow, let’s see if he can complete the full session. After that, we will know if he’s available.
