Sky: Amorim retains Cardinale’s full backing while Ibrahimovic’s role remains unchanged

By: Oliver Fisher There has been a lot of negative press since the draw with Sassuolo, but Sky’s Peppe Di Stefano has attempted to calm things.

After the 1-1 at the Mapei Stadium, reports have emerged which mentioned Gerry Cardinale’s discontent with the performance seen from the team. This has led to suggestions that Amorim might not be on entirely stable ground anymore.

However, Peppe Di Stefano (via MilanNews ) reported on Tuesday evening that Cardinale’s faith in Amorim remains solid . The Portuguese coach was chosen in the summer and is certainly not in doubt after just three months at the club, especially given the July training camp began on the 13th.
