Serie A teams didn’t like Issa Doumbia enough to bid for him when he was at Venezia, but he quickly asserted himself at Sporting CP too, and Juventus and Roma could try to bring him back to Italy eventually, A Bola reports.
The youngster also fared well in his first few Italy appearances during the recent international break. The Portuguese side splurged to acquire him last summer, paying €20M after he registered 8 goals and 6 assists in 37 second-division games in 2025/2026.
Juventus and Roma have been monitoring Doumbia in recent fixtures, especially in the UEFA Champions League. He bagged his first goal of the season against Lens.
