The story in brief
27-second readBarcelona head coach Hansi Flick has early this week moved to reveal his appreciation for the early efforts of Gabriel Jesus in the club’s colours.
This of course comes fresh off another productive outing for the Brazilian over the weekend. With Raphinha ruled out for Barcelona’s post-international break return to action on Saturday, Jesus was afforded his very first start for the club in a La Liga meeting with Villarreal.
And en route to an eventual 3-0 triumph, the former Arsenal man played a starring role, notching Barca’s 2nd of the clash courtesy of a clever run and finish.
