The captaincy group at La Liga giants Barcelona have this week moved to lift spirits in the club’s first-team squad, courtesy of an intimate team meal.
After seeing out the opening months of the term with a perfect record of 11 wins from 11, Barca were brought crashing back down to earth with a thud.
First put to the sword by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, the Catalans were then condemned to defeat at the hands of arch rivals Real Madrid.
