The brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid have earmarked a former member of the club’s defensive ranks as a possible long-term replacement for Antonio Rüdiger in Spain’s capital.
This comes amid confirmation that those in a position of power at the Santiago Bernabéu are giving serious consideration to the return of Jacobo Ramón.
Youngster Jacobo for his part departed Real Madrid on a permanent basis in the summer of 2025. After racking up 30 Serie A starts last season, Jacobo has since followed up with a further 11 starts between league and European competition this time round.
