The story in brief
31-second readChelsea landed a couple of bargains during the summer transfer window, and Barcelona’s Jules Kounde could be their next. In August, the Blues signed Jordan Henderson from Brentford on a free transfer, while they were also able to purchase Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa for just £7.5m a few weeks later.
The pair are two very experienced Premier League players who are already making an impact at Stamford Bridge. In fact, Henderson has even made history at Chelsea after scoring two goals and providing an assist in Saturday’s 5-1 win over Bournemouth.
The 36-year-old is now the oldest player in Chelsea history to come up with three goal contributions in a single Premier League match.
