Vincent Kompany not surprised with Borussia Dortmund’s consistency this season

Heading into the fifth match week of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich find themselves sitting in second place in the table, two points behind Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern’s 0-0 draw at Schalke remains their only slip-up so far this season, but Dortmund have not put one foot wrong, having won all four of their league matches thus far and all six of their matches across all competitions after losing the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup to Bayern at the end of August.

Niko Kovac was recently critical of the newly extended international break that just concluded, and he now faces a crucial stretch of matches across all competitions.
