RB Leipzig ready for Bayern Munich clash: ‘We have a lot of confidence’ – Maarten Vandevoordt

With successive wins in the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League, RB Leipzig travel to Bayern Munich on Matchday 6 as they look to secure their first points of the season on the road in Germany’s top flight.

Speaking after Leipzig’s 1-0 win against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday night, Maarten Vandevoordt explained how recent results have instilled new confidence in the team. “When you win, you’re always in a flow,” the Dutchman said.

“The energy in the team and in the locker room is very good right now. “We have to build on that and not give up.” RB Leipzig have scored 15 Bundesliga goals this term, 14 of which have come at the Red Bull Arena.
