Piero Hincapie has attracted interest from Barcelona, with the Catalan club reportedly believing the Arsenal defender could be an excellent addition to their squad. Hincapie has become an important player for the Gunners in recent weeks and continues to develop positively across all competitions.
Arsenal regard him as one of their top players and are keen to keep him as part of their long-term plans. Although the defender is happy in London, he is not guaranteed a starting place.
That situation could eventually make him consider leaving the Emirates Stadium if an attractive opportunity arises. According to Sport, Barcelona sporting director Deco has identified Hincapie as a player who would fit into Hansi Flick’s system.
