Ronald Araujo put in another impressive showing for Liverpool on Sunday as the Reds beat high-flying Brighton 2-0 in the Premier League at Anfield. The defender’s battling display earned praise from manager Andoni Iraola after the game, who made it clear just how highly he rated the Barcelona loanee’s performance.
“It helps a lot [to have Ronald],” said the Liverpool head coach. “I think we all enjoyed watching Ronald fighting. I think he’s very good in the duels,” he told a press conference after the match.
“Even the first goal, I think he wins two duels in a row, he arrives at the byline and after, it’s not an assist, but it’s worth an assist.
