Tottenham could repeat Lucas Bergvall trick as they eye another Swedish starlet

Following Lucas Bergvall’s success at Tottenham Hotspur, the North London club could now repeat the trick by poaching another exciting Swedish midfield starlet. Spurs beat Barcelona to the services of Bergvall back in 2004, with the Lilywhites hijacking the £8.5m deal after the youngster seemed destined for Catalonia.

That already looks like one of the best bargains in the North London club’s history, with Tottenham rejecting offers just short of £50m for the midfielder in the recent summer window.

The North London club are now looking to repeat the trick, as they eye another young Swede, who is also being tipped to reach the very top of the game.
