Tottenham Hotspur fans have been frustrated by Destiny Udogie’s inability to stay fit, with the left-back consistently plagued by injuries over the last two years.
Udogie’s injury issues have prevented the Italian from fulfilling his huge potential at Tottenham following his excellent start to his time in North London. His fitness issues have meant that the 23-year-old has only made two Premier League starts from his four appearances so far this season, with summer signing Andy Robertson starting the bulk of the Lilywhites’ matches.
Speaking ahead of the game against Chelsea, De Zerbi admitted that managing Udogie’s workload has been a big problem. The Tottenham boss said on Saturday: “He’s (Udogie) not available.
