31-second read(Photo by Alexandra BEIER / AFP via Getty Images) | AFP via Getty Images Michael Olise has seen his career and profile in the footballing world take off since arriving at Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024 — the same year current head coach Vincent Kompany took charge at Säbener Straße.
But Kompany isn’t about to take credit for Olise’s prolific form. Asked by Sky Germany’s Torben Hoffmann, the Bayern coach merely expressed his gratitude for having a player of Olise’s caliber.
“I think a player with talent like Michael Olise will always make it. He will always be one of the best players,” Kompany said in comments captured by @iMiaSanMia .
