From the source

Xabi Alonso must find a way to cope without Chelsea’s star striker Joao Pedro. Pedro missed the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend because of injury and is unlikely to be back before the international break.

Alonso expects Pedro to miss Chelsea’s “next few games”. Who could replace the Brazilian up front? Who is the best option in his absence? The Chelsea Chronicle has ranked the likely candidates.

Morgan Rogers was given the nod to lead the line for Chelsea last Saturday after it was confirmed that Pedro would miss the game. Rogers is a brilliant attacking midfielder, but he did not look comfortable at all in the No.9 position against Spurs.
