Roberto De Zerbi has opened up on the effect Tottenham’s trip to Marbella has had on his players following the recent upturn in results. There is no denying how poor Tottenham Hotspur’s start to the 2026/27 season was, with the Lilywhites failing to win any of their first six league outings.
That poor run, which also included just three goals in six games, left the Lilywhites teetering in the Premier League’s bottom three, and they even dropped to last place at one point.
However, results over the last two weeks have taken a big turn, with Tottenham beating Coventry City 3-1 before securing a historic 2-0 victory over London rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, their first win at the ground since 2018.
