Harry Kane may now be celebrating the biggest individual honor in football as a Bayern Munich superstar, but the England captain has not forgotten the club where his journey began.
After winning the Ballon d’Or, Kane made a point of thanking Tottenham Hotspur for helping shape the player he has become. Having joined Spurs at just 11 years old, Kane developed through the club’s academy before becoming one of the most prolific strikers in Premier League history.
Although his career has since taken him to Munich, he recognizes the importance of those formative years in North London. Kane reflected on the people, training, and experiences that helped him turn his childhood ambitions into reality.
