Alex Scott vs Elliot Anderson — Could Chelsea be about to sign the better midfielder?
Story updated
The story in brief
30-second readIn the future, Chelsea target Alex Scott and Manchester City’s Elliot Anderson could become the two best midfielders in the Premier League. City clearly believe Anderson has that kind of potential; otherwise, they would not have spent £116m on the 23-year-old.
We are now going to find out how much potential Chelsea think Scott has. Bournemouth could demand up to £130m for Scott in the January transfer window.
After they begin negotiations with the Cherries, you suspect that valuation will come down a bit, but when you look at how the midfielder market was before the start of this season, Scott is easily going to fetch £100m for Bournemouth.
