From the source
Borussia Mönchengladbach head coach Alexander Blessin faces a daunting task as his team prepares to visit VfB Stuttgart on Friday evening. The Bundesliga’s bottom club stands on the brink of an unwanted historical record, with nine first-team players unavailable for a fixture that could see Gladbach become the first team in Bundesliga history to lose their opening seven matches.
Speaking at Thursday’s pre-match press conference, Blessin offered a somewhat sardonic introduction to his lengthy list of absentees. Blessin remarked while looking at the printed out copy of his club’s injury report.
“Not much has changed for the better. We have Isak [Lidberg] out with muscular problems. We have Tim [Kleindienst] who is still struggling with his muscle tear.
