Story updated
The story in brief
31-second readNicolò Tresoldi made clear why Italy want him so much by scoring a hat-trick for Club Brugge’s shock 4-3 victory, but Inter are on zero points after two Champions League games.
The Nerazzurri paid a heavy price for individual errors in the 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid , so needed to be on their toes. Curtis Jones and John Stones were out injured, while Aleksandar Stankovic was again benched against the club where he won the Belgian title last season.
Club Brugge lost 3-2 to Aston Villa and saw Yann Sommer face his former team, along with potential Italy international hitman Nicolò Tresoldi, but Joel Ordonez missed out with a fractured metatarsal.
