From the source

Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany has been discharged from hospital after collapsing during a training session last Friday. The Belgian has been diagnosed with meningeal irritation and will continue his recovery at home, with assistant coach Aaron Danks set to remain in charge of the team for the time being.

Bayern sporting director Max Eberl confirmed the news in an interview with German broadcaster ARD ahead of Wednesday's DFB-Pokal clash against 1. "He is doing very well considering the circumstances, although I wouldn't say he is already feeling very well.

But he was discharged from hospital today. I think that is the biggest and best news for us," Eberl said. The 40-year-old had been suffering from a viral infection in the weeks leading up to the incident.
