Hopefully, a Manchester City favourite can make his mark against Ipswich Town today
Story updated
The story in brief
29-second readPhil Foden has shown signs of his best form to begin the new season for Manchester City. In six appearances in all competitions, Foden has contributed two assists and there are signs that he is regaining his touch and confidence.
Unfortunately, Foden was sent off for kicking out at Bruno Fernandes in Manchester City’s 1-0 win over Manchester United in September. Foden was subsequently suspended for three matches after his red card.
Adding in the extended international break that occurred during Foden’s suspension, he hasn’t played for a considerable length of time. Hopefully, Phil Foden can return to the pitch against Ipswich Town today and make an impact.
