It was important for AC Milan to bounce back after their midweek loss to AFC Bournemouth and they did just that, beating Udinese 2-0. A goal in each half was enough against a Udinese team that have now lost six on the spin.
Christian Pulisic got the first after a lovely first touch and finish from Luka Modric’s ball over the top, then Omari Hutchinson netted his first for the club by firing in a rebound from Ardon Jashari’s shot.
The general consensus is that Milan could have won by a greater margin, and the numbers back this up. It was one of the highest shot totals so far this season too for Ruben Amorim’s men, with 19 in total and 7 of them being on target.
