From the source
JJ Gabriel’s future is not officially settled yet, but the shape of this story is now fairly obvious. The Manchester United midfielder has still not publicly confirmed where he will play next once his departure is formalised and the long-awaited Cypriot passport issue is resolved.
Even so, the latest developments point strongly in one direction, Real Madrid. According to Sport, the last meaningful challenge to Madrid’s position came from Paris Saint-Germain.
The French champions reportedly pushed again in recent days, improving their offer on both sporting and financial terms in a final effort to change the player’s mind.
