La Liga giants Barcelona have added a new name to their growing list of targets to reinforce the heart of the club’s backline this January.
This comes amid the understanding that Deco and co. have set their sights on a potential deal for Ajax talent Youri Baas. Baas, for his part, is a 23-year-old defender, who chiefly lines out in a central role, but is also more than capable of slotting in at left-back when required.
The Dutchman has long been hailed for his talents on and off the ball alike, considered something of a leader in Ajax’s backline despite his tender years.
