Renee Slegers made three changes to the team that won in the North London Derby on Saturday. Geraldine Reuteler came in to make her first start at right back and Élisa de Almeida made her first starter at centre back.
Finally, Ona Batlle came into the team at right back. Emily Fox dropped to the bench as did Lisa Baum and Leah Williamson. Arsenal started brightly, with Stanway forcing a turnover in midfield before quickly playing into Smith.
